Can Use On White
I address envelopes for over 100 Christmas cards every year for the company I work for. I use Avery 8663 Clear Easy Peel Shipping labels to give it a personal look. Using the Avery labels and mail merge makes the job quick and easy. The labels are not clear, but I use them on white envelopes so the whitish finish is not as obvious.
Pros: easy to use; better than white address labels
Cons: not translucent

Clearly Unclear
I also expected this label to be clear. After all, that is what the package said. They are cloudy and opaque. I basically threw my money away on a product that wasn't what it claimed to be and is useless to me.

Not clear
I was under the impression these would be clear like transparency sheets, but they are translucent. I was using them in place of hand-done calligraphy on wedding invitations, but the label clearly shows on the invite. Would be invisible only on white, or slightly off-white paper, not on anything else. Be aware when you purchase if it is important to you.
Pros: easy to adhere
Cons: not completely invisible

Clear?
I expected these labels to be clear as in transparent, not cloudy and translucent. When I applied them hoping the label itself would be fairly invisible it was anything but.
